You're stranded on an unknown planet, the home of numerous hostile creatures.

I'd recommend choosing the Story Mode option.
Use the WASD keys to move around.
Hit R to reload your weapon.
Some creatures drop weapons and powerups (health and a 'timestop').
I'd recommend playing Story Mode.
